In many industries, production processes generate by-products such as dust, fumes or mist which, if not properly discharged, can pose a risk to the production plant, the products, the employees and the environment.
It is therefore important that the pipe system used has a high degree of tightness so that dangerous substances cannot escape. The conductivity of the pipe system is equally important. Static charges can lead to deflagrations or explosions and thus cause immense damage. Since explosions in the production process cannot be completely ruled out, despite all precautionary measures, the pipe system should also have a minimum level of pressure shock resistance.
