JACOB has various types of two-way diverters available to meet your requirements: From gravity conveying bulk goods to pneumatic low pressure conveying, JACOB has just the right solution in its portfolio for distributing your product.

Two-way valves with inlet collar, like all versions available symmetrically and asymmetrically, are used in gravitational bulk goods handling. They are ideal for conveying free-flowing, non-glutinous, granular bulk goods without backlog.

Two-way valves with seal are used to convey free-flowing bulk goods and in ventilation systems up to 0.1 bar. The seal of the inner flap is made of NBR or silicone as standard. Two-way valves with seals are also available with DETECTABLE DESIGN.

2-way distributors are also suitable for conveying free-flowing bulk goods and for use in ventilation systems, but up to 0.3 bar. The special feature: thanks to an integrated inner flap, the distributor does not have to be dismantled to clean or replace the standard silicone seals.

All three variants are available as FOOD GRADE versions. All metal components and sealing materials in stainless steel that are in contact with products are compliant with EC 1935/2004 plus FDA.

Two-way distributors are available as a manually operated variant and with pneumatic actuators. Electrical actuation is available on request. More information on accessories and special version, e.g. inspection openings or limit switches, can be found in our catalogue.

Our pull-ring system with u-shaped seal provides minimum leakage enables not only dust extraction, but also condensate extraction.

Case Study

Bühler’s Bakery Innovation Center (BIC) covers a complete range of bakery processes – from conception to production. Pipes and components from JACOB were used for bulk material handling and exhaust air aspiration. Because the systems in question are used for processing foodstuffs, all the components used are from the particularly high-quality FOOD GRADE line. These fulfil the requirements of EC 1935/2004 and the FDA. Also part of the system: the blue U­shaped seals, which are metal detectable thanks to incorporated metal particles.
