JACOB Pipework Systems – The market leader from Porta Westfalica

JACOB is the No.1 for modular pipework systems in Europe. Conveying pipe systems for bulk good handling and providing solutions for dust extraction and exhaust air systems for environmental techniques are the two large scopes for JACOB.

The company was founded in 1924. Even then, the young Friedrich Jacob, founder and namesake of our company, was working on windmills and water mills. Growing up in a mill and later completing an engineering degree, he aimed to plan and modernize mills. With Porta Westfalica right in the middle of the mill district Minden-Lübbecke, he chose a good strategic location.

Initially, the company concentrated on the production of square wooden pipes. They served for the gravitational conveyance of flour and grain. The parts were made of wood in a small carpentry shop and mainly delivered to the surrounding mills.

In the 1950s JACOB was one of the first to switch to the manufacture of sheet metal pipes. They gradually replaced the wooden nesting pipes in the mills and silos. This development also paved the way for the modular pipework system from JACOB as we know it today.

Today, the company is still family-owned and led by Klaudine Gericke and Patrick Jacob. In over 100 years, JACOB has developed from a small carpentry shop to an international company with over 600 employees.

Subsidiaries in Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, and the US are members of the Jacob Group. About 40 representatives in Europe and overseas complete our sales network and ensure the proximity to the customers.

Modern production facilities enable both the production of large quantities of our standard products and the manufacture of customer-specific solutions.

With Europe's largest finished parts warehouse of this type, with more than 1,000,000 parts on 9,000 square meters of storage space, we guarantee the fastest possible availability of all series parts.
